Where sources disagree we show the range they share. Medical sources publish wake windows only up to 12 months; the toddler rows come from Huckleberry's pediatrician-reviewed guides. Total sleep under 4 months is the National Sleep Foundation figure, cited by the NIH.
A note on safe sleep
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends placing your baby on their back for every sleep, on a firm, flat surface with no soft objects or loose bedding, and sharing a room but not a bed.AAP
This page shares typical ranges and isn't medical advice. Talk to your pediatrician about your baby's sleep.
The Dobbin app
Let your watch count the awake time.
Dobbin's sleep complication shows how long your baby has slept during a nap, then flips to how long they've been awake. Start the next nap from your wrist and everyone in the household sees it.
