Shared baby tracker

One baby. Two tired parents. One timeline.

Dobbin keeps one household for everyone caring for your baby. A feed started on your Watch shows on your partner's iPhone within seconds, and nobody has to ask “did you log that?” again.

  • Sync in seconds
  • Invite caregivers
  • No duplicate entries
  • Safe corrections

Both screens show the same feed from the same start time. Each clock just does the counting.

How it works

Share the baby, not a password.

  1. Create a household

Sign in with Apple and add your baby. You own the household and decide who joins.

  2. Invite your people

Invite your partner, a grandparent or a nanny. Each person signs in with their own Apple ID on their own devices.

  3. Log from anywhere

Every iPhone and Apple Watch in the household reads the same timeline and updates within seconds while the app is open.

Made for handoffs.

Shift changes at 2 a.m. go better when the record is already right.

  • One source of truth

Your household lives in one place and every device reads from it. Nothing to merge, nothing to reconcile.

  • Retry without fear

Lost signal mid‑tap? A retry can't create a second feed or a ghost timer.

  • Corrections are safe

If your partner edited an entry first, you see their version instead of silently overwriting it.

  • Who logged it

Each entry shows which caregiver started it, so the timeline doubles as a handoff note.

  • More than one child

Twins, or a toddler and a newborn? Add each child to the same household.

  • You stay in control

Owners manage who's in the household. Removing someone stops their access to future updates.

Why shared baby trackers break, and how Dobbin avoids it

Shared logs usually go wrong in two places: a slow sync that leaves one parent looking at old data, and a flaky connection that turns one tap into two entries. Both erode trust until someone stops logging.

Dobbin keeps one authoritative household on the server. Every tap carries an ID, so a retry is recognised as the same request, and every edit carries the version you were looking at. Saving a new entry needs a connection, and the app says plainly when something hasn't been saved yet.

FAQ

Sharing questions

How fast does a partner see a new entry?

Within a few seconds while the app is open on their device. Widgets and Live Activities refresh in the background.

Can grandparents or a nanny use Dobbin?

Yes. The household owner can invite any caregiver. Each person signs in with their own Apple ID.

What happens if two people edit the same entry?

Each edit carries the version it was based on. If someone else changed it first, you see their version instead of overwriting it.

Does it work offline?

History and running timers stay readable offline. Saving a new entry needs a connection, so everyone always sees the same confirmed record.
